Make Sure It Has Enough Fuel

Just like how you need food to survive, your car needs a good engine oil to last long. It is important to keep an eye on it on a regular basis. Never overfill your tank and whenever there is damage you need to get it repaired immediately. Usually, the car manual recommends you to check your oil at every gas fill up, this isn’t practical so at least once a week should do. In case you are a new car owner and don’t know how to check the oil, all you need is a clean paper towel, adequate light, this job barely takes five minutes so don’t blame it on your super busy schedule.

Go To the Experts

None of us are experts and it is okay to be imperfect.  There are certain regular check-ups that your car needs that can only be done by experts. So go to them every three months or whenever required. The more you use the car, the more often you will have to go to the experts. Also in caseyour car needs some repairs, look for professionals like hilux spare parts. They will have workshops that are fully equipped with all the necessary parts including some great mechanics so your car is in safe hands. Some experts provide car repairson the spot, which is even better.

The Other Bit

Apart from the above you also need to keep your car clean both from inside and outside. If you have the time you could do this every weekend where you wash your car this includes windshield, rearview mirrors and headlights. Keeping them dirty could be lead to safety hazards. You will also need to clean the carpets and seats if you have an air freshener then replace it after every 3 weeks. However, if your schedule is busy then you could drop it off to the nearest washing station.

Most of the places do it within a few hours. You will also need to check the air pressure of your tire to avoid a tire puncture. If you do not know how to check the air pressure then Google right away or you could ask the experts to do it for you. Tire pressure can even be checked at your nearest gas fill up. If you are pro at your job you could even examine the brakes. This is quite important especially if you use your vehicle for long distances. However, when you give your car for a service they will do it for you as well for an extra charge.

So if you have just purchased your own vehicle then do consider the above maintenance tips!
